NanoTronix LAN Cable Tester (Model No.: mTDR-020) is a pocket sized and easy-to-use LAN cable tester which is the ideal instrument for those managing LAN and metallic telecom cable networks with lowest cost. Nanotronix LAN Cable Tester provides accurate measurement for locating faults and measuring the length of any type of paired (shielded or twisted) metallic cables such as category 5/6 UTP cables, Telephone and Coaxial cables.

Together with the fault or length measurement, NanoTronix LAN Cable Tester pinpoints ill-pairings of LAN cables: open, short, reversed, crossed and split pairs. Nanotronix LAN Cable Tester also offers the office Identifier which allows users to find the termination of office cable drops in wiring closets (optional office Identifier plugs required). This feature provides a favorable environment for office network installation with hubs. Tone generating function and included free inductive probe allows users to verify cable's continuity and trace the cable in walls, floors and ceilings.

Rugged and affordable NanoTronix LAN Cable Tester is the ideal tool for on-the-spot cable testing. It is the all-in-one LAN cable tester which meets the needs of every cable contractors, installers and technicians at lowest cost.

NanoTronix LAN Cable Tester is housed in a rugged ABS enclosure which is dust and weatherproof to IP 42. The instrument also comes with a soft carrying case and alligator clip adapter. It is powered by four AA (NEDA 15A or LR6) batteries, which are stored in a compartment on its back.
